I am a Citizen Journalist and activist based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

I have a BA in history from the University of Canterbury. My writing focuses mostly on organised labour, migrant workers and the low paid, New Zealand foreign policy (particularly in the Pacific), civil liberties and environmental issues. When the mood strikes me I'll write about cycling. I write similar articles for Instablogs (http://byronlark.instablogs.com), The Spark, the monthly magazine published by the Workers Party of New Zealand (www.workersparty.org.nz) and humour articles for Weird Worm (www.weirdworm.com)
